Section 0.4 Solving Equations

Plotting two linear equations simultaneously allows us to graphically determine the solutions to that pair of linear equations. Moreover, we can determine solutions to general systems of equations either with a graph, or by substitution, or by elimination, or with any combination thereof. Surpisingly, exponential curves have much in common with lines, so we'll consider curve fitting as a particular application. (I also wouldn't be doing my job if we didn't review exponential functions.)
